You see, a year ago today, at this moment really, I was disembarking from a plane in Rome, en route to my hotel on Via Condotti... and about to embark on a whole new life. My memories of this day are good, wonderful, magical, and sad. You see, this day also marks the end of a good friendship and partnership. Today is going to be a hard day for me to get through...luckily, a good friend and I have plans to carouse and imbibe this evening, and my day tomorrow is all about getting a massage, having a fabulous lunch at a restaurant I've wanted to go to for some time, and spending a gift certificate on something frivolous...A day off will do me some good. any comments?
